My Worldview/My Faith:
I believe that someone’s worldview says volumes about what they like and dislike, and that it’s the #1 factor in their personal biases. So here’s a little bit about what I believe:
I’m a non-denominational Christ-follower. That means I believe in one God, the God of the Bible, and that the Bible is His word written down by human hands but set by God in their minds (deep and mystical, I know).
I’m not a Baptist, a Catholic, a Presbyterian, or any other “faction.” I just read the Bible and try to do what it says (which is not easy, let me tell you. I kind of suck at it a lot).
I’m not here to Bible-bash, hate people who believe differently, or force my beliefs on anyone.
In fact, it’s my God-given job to love everyone, especially people who think differently from me. I believe it’s wrong for me to act high and mighty, because I’m a sinner who deserves to burn in hell, so I’m no better than anyone else.
I’m just here to tell you what I believe and what I’ve experienced: God loves you. Yep, you. Doesn’t matter what you’ve done or whether you even believe he exists. He loves YOU. Personally, powerfully, deeply.
I believe that everyone is a beautiful masterpiece, made by God to do something meaningful. And I believe that any good things or talents someone was given were from God. I believe it’s my #1 duty to learn and teach people who God really is–not who we think he is.
